Not only are baby boomers alive and kicking, they are more vibrant, energetic and connected to society than ever. They are over 50, but act as if they are under 40, even saying 60 is the new 40. So, when marketing your products, don’t count them out. Not only are they wanting certain things for themselves, they are buying for their children and grandchildren. With more and more post college graduates moving home after graduation to save money, these baby boomers are in the market for products you wouldn’t even think they would be. Retail stores such as American Eagle, The Buckle and so forth, don’t count them out of your marketing.
Baby boomer women are the fastest growing group on Facebook and are connected to all facets of society. Their kids, their friends, friends of their kids and so forth, they have substantial influence. Learning how to bring them in by on and offline marketing could prove to be a great move for your business.
